Heather Joyner is a geriatric care manager with a Master's Degree in Social Work specializing in Gerontology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Heather has extensive professional experience in working with older adults and their families. Her background includes working as a nursing home social worker and serving as the coordinator of a residential Alzheimer's care program. Ms. Joyner has a special interest in educating others about the unique issues faced by older adults. She has taught Gerontology at Wake Technical Community College.
